The number next to each box in the Table of Consanguinity indicates the degree of relationship relative to the given person.
 
To find the relationship between two people:
 - From Person, follow the diagonal arrows up to the common ancestor
 - Then go straight down to the generation of the 2nd person
 
To find very distant cousins Download a Spreadsheet (the .xlsx file will download into your default download directory) containing three more Tables of Consanguinity to: 25th Great Grand-parents, 50th Great Grand-parents & 100th Great Grand-parents.
