Deed of Conveyance 400 Acres

County of Pickens

Know all men by these presents that I Abner D. Chastain of the above state and county aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of Seventy five dollars to me paid by William Chastain in the Sate aforesaid I have granted bargained sold and released and by these presents do grant bargain sell and release unto William Chastain all my right title and interest in my mothers Land Mary Chastain Lying on waters of Oolenoy on Cassells Creek in Pumpki____ Township Pickens County So Ca containing Four hundred acres in boath tracts three hundred acres being originally owned by John Cassel Sold at his sale to Mrs. Mary Chastain the one hundred acres being known as the Jack Cassell tract near foot of Table Rock Deeded from Jack Cassell to John Chastain bounded by lands of Mrs. Susan Keith John Miles and others Tract No 2 the Jack Cassell tract is bounded by lands of Benjamin Martin Kirksey & Taylor together with all and singular the rights members hereditaments and appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in anywise incident or appertaining. To have and to hold all and singular the said premises before mentioned unto the said William Chastain his heirs and assigns forever and I do hereby bind myself my heirs executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said William Chastain his heirs and assigns against me and my heirs and all other persons lawfully claiming ro to claim the same or any part thereof Witness my hand and seal this 19th March int he Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety
